Alp Demirel is a research assistant of control theory at the Hacettepe NeuRo Lab. His research interests include artificial intelligence, control applications, and sensor fusion. He currently leads a multi-sensory integration research, which aims to dicover a dynamic re-weighting sensor fusion algorithm that is used by weakly electric fishes.

He has great experience in image processing, ROS development, system identification, artificial intelligence (TensorFlow), and embedded programming. Also, he has 3D technical/artistic drawing skills.
